Creation Museum

On Tuesday, October 2, my wife, daughter, aunt and myself went to see the Creation Museum near Cincinnati OH, an outreach of Answers in Genesis. We had been planning the trip since May, and it was well worth the wait. What a FANTASTIC thing we have just a couple of hours away! I would encourage everyone to go there. Skip one meal per day for the next year if you have to, but make sure you go.

The museum goes through earth's history based on the Bible. They use what they call The 7 C's of History: Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross, and Consummation. The museum tackles the creation vs evolution debate, but also explains why this is all very relevant in our age.

It's really hard to say what part of the museum I liked the best...Besides that I do not want to spoil it for those who have never seen it. So, let me tell you that when you go, you need to go to the Planetarium. It costs extra, but well worth it. The part of the museum that I spent the most time in was the part about the Catastrophe - the Genesis Flood. My three year old liked the dinosaurs the best. When Ken Ham says that Answers in Genesis is taking back the dinosaurs, he is not kidding!

It is so nice to walk through a museum and not get bombarded with the atheistic evolutionary lies that have become so common in the other museums I have been in. We will definitely be going back. And when you go, plan on making on "all day" event out of it! We were there from about 10:30am until after 5:30pm. And, we did not get to see everything. Oh and make sure you take some extra money for the Dragon Hall Bookstore. You will need it! Even if you do not like to read, they have some excellent audio and video resources for sale there.

May God bless Answers in Genesis and other creation ministries around the world for promoting the truth of the Biblical creation!

In Christ,David M. Green
