Second Amendment Victories

This evening I am happy to report about two victories for the law abiding citizens of the United States of America!

Of course, the most well-known case that was recently decided by the US Supreme Court is
DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ET AL. v. HELLER. Praise God, in a 5-4 decision, freedom has won! Americans do have the freedom to own and use guns for self-defense! It is a God-given right protected by the Second Amendment and I am thankful that was upheld in this court case.

Also, recently Ohio has finally passed a Castle Doctrine (Senate Bill 184) into law. It goes into effect in 90 days. I applaud the House and Senate, as well as our Governor Strickland for passing this. It has been a long time coming!

These are two victories, but the battle is not over. Do not, for a second think that your gun rights will be safe with a President Obama in the White House.
