Baby Update!

"Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate." (Psalm 127:1-5)

Jill and I went to visit the doctor to get another ultrasound. We are now at 12 weeks. PRAISE the LORD everything looks and sounds good. The baby's heart rate was fine, and there was quite a bit of movement on the ultrasound screen. We could definitely see the hands, feet, and head of our precious little baby! How very exciting!

Pray for us as we are still planning to move to the Mansfield OH area as soon as possible. I am still looking for a secular job to help with financial needs. After I find a job, then we will need to find a house.... In the meantime, we travel up there at least once per week.

May God's blessings be upon you all!

Updates

Good evening, all.

Faithdelivered.net was "born" on April 8, 2005. At that time, I signed up with a company called hostsave.com, now known as gate.com. I can honestly say I never had any problems with them, and they were a good company to work with.

However, I have found a cheaper solution with Tiger Technologies. And this week, I have switched to them. The transition was seamless. FaithDelivered.Net was not down for a single moment!

The people at Tiger Technologies have been very good to work with during the transition period, and I am looking forward to working with them for a very long time.

Have a GREAT week, and may God richly bless you all! I'll try to write more later...

PODCAST

Greetings all!

I have just created an XML feed for my podcast. I plan to continue adding the MP3s onto my websites as usual. However (Lord willing), I will now update this feed every week, as the Lord allows me to preach.

You can access my feed at http://www.faithdelivered.net/mypodcast.xml.

It is also available through Itunes.

If you have any problems with this, please let me know. I am entering into "less familiar" territory with this project! I am working out a few bugs in the code, but it seems functional.

Oh and before I go, I'd also like you all to know that I can send sermons out in CD format (or even tape) if you know someone who could use them. Just let me know.

In Christ,

David Green

Some New Year Reflections

As I woke up and took a look at the world around me this morning, things do not look any different than they did yesterday. The only thing that has changed is the month and the year. The world we live in is the same sin-sick world. We still face many of the same problems that we did last year.

I do not know what 2008 will bring. A lot is at stake this year, at least here in America. This election will take us either to the right or to the left. I pray that we go right, but it may very well be that God will give us a far-left president. No matter what happens, God will be with us every step of the way, as He was in 2007.

The absolute best thing that could happen in 2008 is the Lord's return! God has not given us the date, but we have been told to always be watching for Him to come back. And I believe His return could happen at any moment.

Jesus Himself promised, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:1-3).

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory."
(I Corinthians 15:51-54).

What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see! May the Lord bless you this year, and our paths will again cross either here, there, or in the air!
