New Voter Guide from AFA

Well, Ohio FINALLY gets a turn at this process this Tuesday, March 4th. By this time, the list of candidates has gotten smaller. Today, the American Family Association sent me an updated voter guide listing only those candidates that are still running.

And, as you could probably tell from my website, I STILL think Mike Huckabee is the best choice, and will be casting my vote for him on March 4. Contrary to what John McCain thinks, he does not have the Republican nomination yet. And, I hope Ohio will remind him of that by voting for Mike Huckabee in the Republican primary! Speaking of Mr. Huckabee, I wanted to see him when he was in Columbus on February 27 but we were unable to go. Perhaps we will have another chance to see him when he is President of the United States of America!

If everyone took this idea to heart, there would a lot less heresy in the world, that is for sure! There are far too many people who approach the Bible with preconceived ideas. Instead, we need to let the Bible speak for itself.

A lot of examples could be used here, but a big one is creation. The Bible very clearly tells us that God created the world in six literal days (see Genesis 1; Exodus 20:11; etc). Yet, some have approached the Bible with the idea that the world is billions of years old. This has given birth to such heresies as the Gap Theory, Theistic Evolution, etc. The Bible knows nothing of any of that nonsense!

Another example is the local church. The Bible very clearly teaches a local, visible body of believers (Galatians 1:2; Revelation 1:4; etc). Yet, some have imagined a universal invisible group. The Bible teaches no such thing.

We could also talk about baptism. The Bible is very clear that baptism is immersion only after salvation (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 8:36-38; John 3:23; etc). Yet, among the religious people of our day we hear of such heresy as sprinkling and pouring; baptismal regeneration, and infant baptism. These things are not taught in the Holy Scriptures.

And the list could go on and on. May God help us to realize the truth of what Bro. Cole wrote in his book, and let us preach the Word in a way that is pleasing to our great God and wonderful Saviour!

Hello all,

We are busy getting ready to move to Mansfield (I'll update more on that as I get more information). Since I did not have an inventory of my books, I decided to start one. Several months ago, I started entering my books into a program I downloaded from the internet. However, there was no way to print or export the entire list.

Bro. Doug Newell IV introduced me to Shelfari, a free website that allows you to enter books based on title, author, or ISBN. What a great service! The part I like is that I can export my listing as an Excel spreadsheet! The big disappointment however, is that I am limited to listing only the books they can find in the databases they use.

So, if you have ever wanted to see most of the books in my library, you can now by going to http://www.shelfari.com/faithdelivered.

A few disclaimers:
1. Just because a book is in my library does not mean I agree with everything in it or that I would recommend it to anyone. Some books are purely for reference. Others, I bought and read while in school. The subjects cover a wide range of topics. Remember, I was homeschooled and plan to continue that tradition with my child(ren). It is good to have a variety of books on hand for that purpose.

2. I have not read all of my books, but plan to, if the Lord grants me the time to read them. If I did not plan to read them, they would not be in my library.

3. I did not buy all these books. The majority of my library was given to me. A big part of my library came from one of my dear friends, Elder John Lenegar, who is now with the Lord.

4. None of my books are for sale, so don't ask. :)

Recommended Books: Februrary 2008

Here are a list of books that I recommend on the subject of American History. I own all of these, and wish every American would read them. How great it would be if just one of these books would be required reading in every social studies class (whether it be in a public, private or home school)! Satan seems to be working hard to try to erase the truth of our country's Christian heritage. May we never forget, but more importantly, may we once again be a nation that pleases God!

I found the New England Primer of 1777 online, and thought I'd post part of it here. This was used to teach young boys and girls their ABCs. This happened before the atheistic ACLU got involved in attempting to take over our country. How far we have drifted away from our Christian heritage as a country. Pray for our country, and then enjoy this post!

Mike Huckabee for President!

Surprised? Maybe you have been led to believe that only two Republicans and two Democrats are running at this point in time. Maybe you have been paying too much attention to the television or the radio. All of the media (including CNN, FOX News, and even many "conservative" talk show hosts) have been talking about McCain and Romney, the two WORST choices on the Republican side.

Governor Mike Huckabee is by far the best choice to be the next president. If you have not thought much about him, please do.


"When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn." (Proverbs 29:2)

As a born again child of God, I cannot support any other person running for president. Voting is a privilege and an honor, something we should not take lightly! So, when you vote, cast your vote for such a man of high moral integrity as Mr. Mike Huckabee! If you can, please also support him financially.

Oh, and by all means, please also take a look at the Voter Guide published by the American Family Association to see where all the candidates stand on the issues that are important to this nation!
