Second Amendment Victories

This evening I am happy to report about two victories for the law abiding citizens of the United States of America!

Of course, the most well-known case that was recently decided by the US Supreme Court is
DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ET AL. v. HELLER. Praise God, in a 5-4 decision, freedom has won! Americans do have the freedom to own and use guns for self-defense! It is a God-given right protected by the Second Amendment and I am thankful that was upheld in this court case.

Also, recently Ohio has finally passed a Castle Doctrine (Senate Bill 184) into law. It goes into effect in 90 days. I applaud the House and Senate, as well as our Governor Strickland for passing this. It has been a long time coming!

These are two victories, but the battle is not over. Do not, for a second think that your gun rights will be safe with a President Obama in the White House.

How refreshing it is to go back and read the views of such men as Noah Webster! It is amazing to me how that some people, in their own wisdom (?) have decided to remove God from the public school system, government, etc. Mr. Webster is called the "Father of American Scholarship and Education." Sadly, very few are following the advice from him.

Even in rural Ohio, teachers are being forced to remove their Bibles from public view. The Christian religion that this country was founded on has been replaced with secular atheistic humanism. Children are being brain-washed and molded by the government to believe everything opposite of the Bible.

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." Psalm 9:17

We need to pray for our country!
